I’m an assistant principal at an elementary school for context. Man I remember a couple of years ago, Coach did a show talking about how loser parents and guardians prevent their children from being able to participate in things at school such as field trips and other activities. We had a grandparent comment under a post essentially saying that we should stop having fundraisers and stop requiring families to pay for field trips and similar things. So, because she can’t afford it, we should stop it altogether. It’s a wild mindset.
