I moved to Europe in 2018 on a separate issue not related to American Women. I left because of my boss at my first job right after I left the Marine Corps. I approached my boss at the time and asked how do I get a raise. He told me to get my Bachelor’s. I did that, went back to him then he said I needed my Master’s degree. Did that and when I went back he fed me some more bullshit. I spoke to a Co worker who suggested I move to Europe. I took a two week trip to Germany, was sold found a job three months later in Germany. When I put in my notice, that’s when my Boss came back with saying I could get a raise at that point I was like Nah, I’m good. I’ve lived in Germany, Romania, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, and Poland. Looking back, if it wasn’t for my Boss telling me no on that raise I wouldn’t have move to Europe.
