Fantastic MM stream last night. Shoutout to everyone that dropped knowledge on how they work to improve/maintain their health. In no way am I an expert on health. For those looking for an idea of the habits needed to keep your health in check here is my routine. This may come off as extreme and obsessive but this is the one body we have. Let's take care of it.

  • Wake up no later then 5:30am [sometimes up as early as 4] start getting steps in [averaged over 27K steps a day this year. About to hit 10 million steps total for 2025] stretch and strength training [pullups/chinups, dead hangs for additional grip strength, push-up varieties, dips, stair climbing etc.]

*Lukewarm shower [showering in water too hot can wear and tear on skin] Cold shower for final 30 seconds to a minute. Tallow/honey balm skincare [I avoid most store bought lotion products due to chemicals.] Mix it with magnesium oil.

*Skip breakfast [intermittent fasting 16-18 hours] Hot water in the morning with pink salt, iodine and several magnesium malate capsules

*If at work get up every 2 hours and go for a 10-20 minute walk.

*break the fast around 1pm at the earliest with Hot water, key limes, cinnamon, cream of tartar raw honey beverage. A tablespoon of high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil. Type of fruit [depends on season, apples, oranges/blood oranges, peaches, nectarines, plums,] frozen wild blueberries and 85-92% dark chocolate [I have a weakness in having cookies with dark chocolate 🤣]

*while breaking fast consume 10-15 capsules [decalcified organ blend capsules, vitamin D3/K2, Zinc, skate liver oil, X-factor butter oil, 5g-15g of creatine monohydrate.

*after work cook dinner at home. 90% of the time I cook red meat/ground beef and pasture raised eggs with some type of raw cheese. [Never eat after 7pm to begin fasting and not sleep on a full stomach]

*after every dinner go for a minimum 30 minute walk.

*several capsules of magnesium glycinate 2 hours before bed.

*3 to 6 times a year I donate blood. Studies say annual donations can reduce risks of heart disease and cancer. https://www.instagram.com/p/DH4b87buf1R/?igsh=MWt1aXc5MWthZ2w1OA==

*annual physicals [while I take what doctors say with a grain of salt think it is still important to educate ourselves on our blood work and see what needs improvement]

Depending on how the day or year goes these habits can change up time to time especially during the holidays or vacation. One thing I've learned is sometimes to build a great habit we must sacrifice another great habit. As we say here there are no solutions in life only tradeoffs. Enjoy the rest of 2025 year. Let's keep leveling up for 2026! ✊🏾
