Gotta COOL as story for my fellas....

About this time last year, my company had me to train this new guy. I'm actually in commercial property management as a Chief Engineer for one of the world's largest commercial real estate corporations. He was a kid about 34, not really much experience, and no real direction. He grew up in a broken home, that included abuse, molestation, you name it. At the time, he lived with his grandmother, who was gaslighting the shit out of him, which he discovered in hindsight.
I took him under my wing, taught him the trade, and helped him discover himself. Periodically, in our downtime, we would just sit in my office & chill, but I would have Coach going on my laptop.
After about 2 days, he calls me after work and asked, "yo, who is that guy you be listening to at work?"

At that moment, a Free Agent was born! 💪😎

I told him, "Oh thats Coach Greg Adams, here's the link to his channel" and I texted him Coach's link to the Free Agent Lifestyle and other channels.

What followed over the next few months was a level of "Bossin Up" that would put the Mitches to shame. He put his nose to the ground and started straight GRINDING. He paid attention to what I taught him, he became focused on his work, then he started studying for his certifications. He got his BOMA certifications, and his EPA Universal certification, all on his OWN time. He shadowed me when I interacted with vendors, tenants, clients, customers and management. He watched how I flawlessly executed multi-million dollar construction contracts. He watched my unbridled focus by ignoring the females putting themselves in my path. He silently became a mirror of MYSELF.

Now even though he admits his mistakes, had 2 children by a trash ass bish when he was younger, he still does the responsible thing and is a straight-up DAD to his kids. He even adopted one of his ex's girls as his own, but thats another story.

He eventually moved out of his granny's house, and the story he told of how she tried to make him feel guilty about it was epic. He said it was Coach that persuaded him to get out from under that woman's roof, and NONE of the shit she pulled to try to get him to NOT move out worked, because he had Coach in his ear every day!!

Now in his downtime, he would design uniforms for his daughters' softball teams on his iPad. He had some really clean work and it was impressive.

One day this past April, we was having a conversation about how he was thinking about getting into photography. He was telling me how he really wanted to get into it, but money was tight.

SO that night, I went home, and packed up some spare equipment I had:
A canon T6i
A bunch of lenses, filters & lights
A Panasonic LUMIX camera
A hard case and a few other knick-knacks.

I came to work the next day and handed it to him.

The brother looked at me in disbelief, and cried.

Shit almost made ME cry but I aint no punk bish.... 🤭

Anyway, he was SO grateful, and thanked me over and over. I told him, you gotta mission- go DO IT.

Over the next few months, this dude has turned into the most talented photographer I have ever seen. He loves doing sports photography, taking pictures at his kid's softball games, then he got into nature photography, abstract, architechtural, damn near EVERYTHING. He is constantly hitting the road on weekends on a new adventure to go to some place he heard about on a website, on IG or something. He is living the life of a FREE AGENT to the T!

He got promoted to team leader for the Mobile Division a few months ago. The company gave him a 2025 Ford F-150 to do his work. He is DOING the damn thing!!

Now guess who is trying to creep back into his life?

Yep... the exes. He said he is starting to get the "hey big head" texts from his exes, but he says he aint even interested. All he talks about is where he is going to take pictures next!! The boi is FOCUSED!

Now tonight, he called me, and said he just HAD to thank me for introducing him to Coach. Because now, he has a new dilemma. Some chick in his neighborhood been WATCHING him! He sent me pictures that some bish done cooked him muffins with a note attached, with her phone number and left it on his porch!! 🤣🤣 He said without Coach, he woulda fell for it!! He said he is enjoying his life WAYYY too much to get mixed up in some bullshit with a STRAGG!! Check out his photos and his work!! Also the muffins the secret admirer left!!
