Did my first Mercedes ELV simulator install.

To not bore you guys with the details, I charged this young man $600 for about an hours worth of work…ONLY because it was my first one ever.

Now we are talking about $1000+ job. When I google “Atlanta ELV repair” there’s maybe 2 sites that specifically state those words. No competition.

Proof of concept done. Money in my pocket.

What up Coach Gang! Been awhile since I posted on locals so I just wanted to share an accomplishment I did this year that I am semi-proud of. My wife planned to run a half marathon earlier this year and I decided to join last minute. Only trained for 2 days (1 hour of jump rope) and went out there to attempt the 13 miles. It took 3 hours (running at my wife's pace because I said I would run it with her) but something that i believed I could never do that was on my bucket list was completed.

I like serial numbered silver and gold bars because it’s better for tracking and documentation purposes.

This particular bar was purchased in September 2022, in a box of 15 for $660 each to go into the personal vault. An undisclosed number of these kilo bar boxes have been purchased since. I have been an OCD silver hoarder..

Today, at spot, the same bar is valued at $1,310.

Because of the increase in the silver price I have too much dead money sitting in my personal possession, and causing my floors to sag under the weight. So, with the help of my accountant at PWC Japan, I created a collateralized loan agreement with a Japanese bank, they arranged a truck to come and pick up the collateral, and credit my account with some Yenjamins at a VERY low rate of interest.

I don’t actually know what I’m going to do with the cash beyond parking it in a brokerage account earning ~4%.

I did have the option of leasing out the metal to be paid interest in silver, but A) I already have a silver ...
