Coach gang,
When I was married, my ex-wife used to emphasize the fact that “I don’t want your money, I just want to spend time together. I want us to prioritize date nights and have intentional time together. “
When I was less valuable and more broke I used to eat that up. I never saw myself in the position to be able to even consider myself making over $100/h let alone building myself to have an ability to make $200/h.
She used to say “Other hoes out here would be using you for your money, but I don’t want that!” Oh baby you speaking my love language of broke!!!
Now I look back over the past 10+ years and wonder…damn. What if I started this type of investment into myself in my early twenties? Instead of HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS pouring into something that statistically will fail just to end up on the other end back at square one…where would I have been?
This one is for the new guys. Don’t let a bish steal your time away from you. Go develop your attitude and mindset. Go ...
I didn’t vote for Trump and I didn’t vote for Biden, but I’ll say some of the most economically positive news has come from this administration.
1) indirectly to Trump, the AI regulation moratorium means AI is likely going to be a Wild West money maker for 5-10 years (starts around 30
Minutes:
2) directly related to Trump, the big beautiful bill has a provision to allow salary deductions for R&D within one year as opposed to over five years. Meaning that tech salary is a tax benefit and frees up cash to potentially allow for more hiring.
If this plays out well, the next 5 years are going to be amazing economically for those moving in that direction
