Thursday was kind of a boring day in the markets so I could actually get to bed a bit earlier.

I think I’m pretty good with the Amazon put spreads expiring today, and USO call spreads don’t expire until next week. Oil seems to be popping a bit overnight. That seems to be a pattern, so if it extends to the regular session I’ll pile on more out of the money calls and just wait.

Turns out cutting those near the money puts was a good move as Amazon took a hit in the overnight trading after a great earnings report, but neutral outlook. It would be great to see if I can collect 100% profit on the remaining put spread tranche. That would make it a fantastic week.

The early market setup today looks kind of uneventful, but that could change with the Jobs report and or Tariff (drug war) news. We shall see what happens and take it all in a stride.

It’s a holiday weekend here, so Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian flatbacks are on deck to relieve all the tension of a nicely profitable week.
