The most shocking thing to me is not the drugs or being a stupid hoe. It’s that her rent in a Rappongi luxury tower apartment was only $3,850/month.
Don’t know how she swung that deal, because 2LDKs start at $5K/month in my building…
Betting on the fluctuations of the Yen is like taking candy from a baby. If I wanted to be super aggressive about it I would throw some stank on it with leverage. But making a few thousand bucks by transferring Yen from one account to another around the intervention moves is jus too easy. Trading FXY options is slightly harder but even more profitable.
Unfortunately for Japan there are no Yen denominated assets that anyone outside of Japan wants to buy. So there is no demand for Yen. Liquidity managers in Japan are in hold to maturity mode so they aren’t going to liquidate overseas assets either.
If I had the buying power and ruthlessness of a Soros I’d just bring the whole fucking thing down and get it over with. But I’m not so I’ll just push my little earnings over into the JuCo fund and carry on.
