My cat Tahini almost lost his life a couple weeks ago after swallowing two small rubber bands. Apparently strings and things like that are detrimental to cats. The bands blocked the path between his stomach and his intestines causing him to vomit repeatedly for 2 days and slowly starve his organs of nutrients basically.

The vets had to cut him open and remove the objects. He’s just one years old and was born on my bday. The vet told me, normally ppl would put their cat down do to cost of surgery and that would be it. Although I never ever wished for or wanted a cat in my entire life, this little animal filled a void for me that I never knew existed. I am glad I was in a position to prolong his life. It was my Christmas gift to both of us and a new year for him🫡.
