I'm seeing A LOT of posts from banking world Twitter that people (mostly women) are going into banks and requesting large amounts of cash withdrawals recently b/c they're getting scammed & catfished by AI bots on dating sites. They take the cash and buy gift cards at Target or grocery stores and mail them to random addresses. If anyone questions them, they say its for friends & family. Sometimes the scammers are on muted calls so they can hear what the person is doing. CHECK ON YOUR GRANDPARENTS, PARENTS, FAMILY, FRIENDS, etc
