CGA is a master of logic and accurately citing facts, just as Doom is a human in a suit of armor who is a master of science and magic, and in specific comic book storylines, he has become powerful enough to defeat Thanos through cunning and superior power, most famously in Secret Wars where a "God Emperor" version of Doom ripped the spine out of Thanos.
